March 7, 2010

Life just keeps going on no matter how we want it to stop at times so we can catch up. Its March already and I am hoping our teasing of warm weather means that winter is going away. I am 37, and I cant remember ever having it snow twice in a winter......I do believe people who are saying its all about global warming, has it wrong:)
The kids are busy as ever. Kadi is kicking some rear in Tennis. She is doing really good and winning matches.....when she doesnt, its not pretty. Prom is April 10th and she is going....lol yes, mom has to do that experience again...she always is beautiful but getting the dress and hair is alot of work....she is very picky. Twins just finished taking the Writing Taks test. That alone is enough to stress a parent......otherwise we are just going day by day and those days are going every fast. Tori is busy in college. She hit a road block for next fall semester as for as being a resident of NC. The lady told her it was federal law she cant be a resident until the age of 24. That puts us having to come up with that outrageous amount of money again for out of state tuition. She was told last year to change her Drivers license to NC and once she has had that for a year, she would be a resident....but Mrs. Clark at UNCP, was very ugly about the situation to Tori so please keep this situation in your prayers. We need them.

A happy Note: We have had pleasure of visiting daily a friend of ours from Paradise Pizza, Mrs. Adams. Her son is away in California and so we go twice a day to visit her. She has tickled us with many stories, and she shared that she bought the house she lives in, in 1944 for $3,000 .......and every time they try to raise her taxes...she reminds them of what she paid for it....lol Mrs. Adams will be 90 on her July 4th birthday and is just a real treasure. I have found that a visit with her, enlightens my heart. She just has a great view on life. I have learned alot and it has been a blessing.

My other blessing this week is that Finally, after test, We have proven my "feel bad" is my Gall Bladder. In Dec. I started really not feeling good and it totally messed up my holiday. I have kept this feeling bad since but of course life goes on No matter how you feel.....so with plenty of Dr. visits and whining....and telling him I have googled my symptoms and its my Gall Bladder...Finally it shown it is!!!!!! Everyone I have talked to said I will feel so much better after its gone, so I am waiting patiently to find someone to Take Mine:) Three months of this has been ridiculous and I will be glad to get rid of this sick feeling.
Note of interest, Within this past year, My brother, My sister, and Julia have all had theirs removed as well......lol Dr. told me is was all that pizza I have eaten...I told him (pizza is my favorite food) that if all that pizza was the problem, it was worth every bite:)

Please also keep Julia in your prayers. She is doing okay but needs strength and encouragement that only our heavenly Father can give.
Have a great week!
