Its a new year. Thank goodness!
I was very glad, personally to see 2009 go!
This year has started off wonderfully...just to catch you up on what is going on with this crew.
Tori, a Jr. at UNCP. She is living in Fayetteville with the Nolens, and working towards her degree in Business. She is doing wonderful and we are so proud of her. She got to meet and greet the stars and the writer of the book/movie Dear John. Thanks to Jodi Luther:) which we appreciate very much! Nicholas Sparks in one of her favorite writers and so that experience on Ft. Bragg for a premeire was exciting for her. She has gotten to go to some concerts but is settling into a routine this spring semester and things are going right along.
We are excited about the upcoming wedding of Julia and Wesley.....they are getting Married Feb. 20th in Longview and the joining of their families will be a blessing. Kinsley and Iszabella are gonna be sisters for real and they make a great team. Julia works at Chase bank in Longview downtown. We couldnt ask for a better son in law in Wes...he is a great blessing to this family. Please keep the kids in your prayers as they begin their lives together.
Kadi is a sophmore in high school. She is currently wrapping up basketball season and gearing up for spring tennis. She is working towards Honeybear tryouts. Officer tryouts are on the 17th. We had spotlight on GHS sat. She was honored with nominees for Outstanding student and Class Favorites.....She is also in the top 10% of her class. We are very proud of her...and if that wasnt enough, she is manager of the softball team....lol she is a busy woman.....she did however got her drivers permit and now we are being driven everywhere we go. I am getting comfortable in the back seat:)
Nick loves football. He likes to watch it on TV. Thanks to Uncle Will he is a Florida Gator fan. He loves the Cowboys.....Barber is his favorite. He loves the outdoors but misses his poppy. He is busy playing video games but he hates to READ. That is our Nick at the age of 10.
Rayne is all girl. They are in the 4th grade and have resently gotten into this "who is going out with who" stage in life....its soooooo funny! They are 10. She enjoys high heels, getting her nails done and pretty much anything the high schoolers are doing. She is very social and gets into the middle of everything. She is all girl.
Matt is staying busy with rental property and the farm.
Me, I am subteaching with Gladewater ISD and enjoy hanging with all the kids. It doesnt matter what grade it is, its fun:) We have great kids in our district.
I am hoping to get to volunteer with Beacon Hospice in the near future.
That is where we are on this Feb. day. Kids keep us busy and we like it....I am graying daily but coloring my hair often.
I hope this will help some of you keep up with us! I will post often as I can.
Have a blessed day my friends!
