Texas snow:)

It has been a wonderful, beautiful last few days. Texas snow suprise. We got about 6 inches of good snow, not ice, but snow. Everywhere you looked it was crisp white. Simply beautiful. Kids were out of school on Friday. I kept saying It would Mental Torture to send the kids to school Friday with That snow outside. I am a native Texan and I can only think of one of time we had this kind of snow, and if My memory serves me right, I was young, we lived in what we called "the bottom" in a white house...lol and I remember it snowed then. Otherwise When I lived in Washington state and my NC visit last year, was the other times I had the joy of experiencing it. Will from NC was in state with work and he got to experience it with us.....even though everywhere he had traveled for the past three weeks had snow too...who would of thought, Texas would get it too!!!! I heard that at one point 49 states had snow on the ground, and they are all about some Global Warming....this is more like Global chillin.
It was fun to see the snowmen, and women, and snowkids popping up everywhere. Some friends are still out of power and pretty much all the white stuff is gone. But it was a fun blessing!
