Here we are.....a saturday nite watching movies and its a crazy 36 degrees outside with a chance of snow:) I knew Mother Nature was teasing with the beautiful weather we have been having....lol dig out those winter joggers again. Crazy Texas Winter it has been. I will have to say I am so ready for summer heat!!!!
We really havent done anything this spring break week. It was nice to really do nothing even though the kids have been driving me nuts being "bored" out of their minds....lol
I told Kadi.....go clean your room...she says "but mom, its spring break". Those of you who know, know Kadi....lol spring break or NOT, her room isnt clean. I though, pick my battles and her room isnt one of them......I dont do her laundry so it is what it is...if she has clean clothes, its on her:) Nick has done some fishing with Daddy Byrd, and Rayne has been with Nana. Julia took them to the movies and zoo. We watched "Bounty Hunter" Friday as a family. Its a good movie but Not as funny as I hoped. Otherwise we have watched alot of netflix movies..including "Up in the Air" it was a pretty slow, boring movie. "Love Happens" A TEAR jerker. "The Hangover" they said I laughed thru it but dont remember it much...lol it hurt to laugh at that point. "Four Christmases" will wear you out with family that isnt even yours, cute movie though! and Lastly Kadi's movie "Hot Rod" which is a laugh but I dont remember it either...I had meds in me.
I am doing really good. I feel better after taking out my Gall Bladder Friday and fixing a hernia around my belly button area. Besides the fact I sleep on my stomach and that has been an issue, I am doing okay. Special thanks to my mom who sent me a recliner over that allowed me to actually sleep:) I spent alot of time in that chair.....Thank you Mom:)
I appreciate all the beautiful flowers and goodie basket I recieved. They made me smile to know I have friends that care. Thank you for all the text message check ups as well. Each one of them, was greatly appreciated. Its really nice to know you have people in your life, who actually do care about you. I have always tried hard to be a good friend to others, I appreciate those of you who were that good friend to me.
Anyhow, it will be interesting to see if it "snows" again here in Texas. I have learned this winter to not underestimate Mother Nature...she is doing her own thing this winter.
For all my friends and family, please know I love you, I appreciate you and that you hold a special place in my heart. U are loved by me.
